Bring your family along and make them all experience the excitement of Mountain Biking!
This is a charity event in partnership with VEK Mokopane for the bible society.
FUN WALK:
This is a easy fun walk - Please bring and donate a bible.
1KM FUN RIDE:
This is a kiddies fun ride, very easy on gravel. Donate a bible to ride. Remember your helmet!
8KM MTB FUN RIDE
This is a fun race aimed at the inexperienced mountain biker who seldom rides and does not have a great deal of fitness. This is a easy route also for young ones, a nice introduction into what mountain biking is all about. The route is mostly gravel roads with some dual tracks and a few single track sections ;-) The routes will provide the cyclists with a real adventurous escape into the bushveld with breath-taking views with vast diversity of wild life.
20KM MTB RACE:

This route will challenge the weekend warrior a little, but will be manageable. Fast and furious for the regular rider... Easy route with mostly gravel, dual tracks and extended single track sections... The routes will provide the cyclists with a real adventurous escape into the bushveld with breath-taking views with vast diversity of wild life.
GENERAL RACE INFO:
All cycling rules apply - NO HELMET NO RIDE!
8km - Ages 7+, but podium prizes only for: 1st, 2nd and 3rd - u/12 boys & girls
20km - Ages 10+. Podium prizes overall, 1st, 2nd and 3rd - boys & girls and men & women
50km - Ages 17+. Podium prizes overall, 1st, 2nd and 3rd - men & women
- Kids under 8 MUST ride with a parent or guardian and will not be allowed on the course without supervision.

DIRECTIONS TO VENUE:
From Mokopane:
About 17km from Mokopane on the R101 towards Naboomspruit/Mookgopong, La Pumba will be on the Left. Drive on the gravel road for about 2.5km to the main gate. Follow signage to the Race Village.
From Pretoria: Recommended that you take the Naboomspruit / Mookgopong turnoff from the N1. Drive through Mookgopong towards Potgietersrus / Mokopane for about 30km. La-Pumba entrance will be on your right. Please see map below.
